Steven L. Kleber, President
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Steve Kleber founded Kleber & Associates, Marketing and Communications (K&A), in 1987 after beginning his career at another Atlanta advertising agency. K&A specializes in the home improvement marketplace and works in partnership with a variety of clients who market premium products for the home.
In addition to solid integrated marketing programs, K&A also offers clients a proprietary Brand Navigator® process that gets to the essence of the brand promise and messaging statements that will create the emotion needed to motivate customers to buy. K&A has also been successful with a nationwide trade show and media tour program - bringing the brand experience to the media’s turf.
Steve is a passionate force behind the agency’s creation of successful marketing programs for its client partners. He drives the agency to consider non-traditional marketing approaches and alliances with key influencers to add impact to his clients’ marketing and sales efforts.
A frequent speaker on consumer behavior and trends at a variety of key industry events, and a contributor to noted industry publications, Steve is immersed in the home products and marketing industries. He is a constant presence at major industry trade shows and events as both a participant and a presenter.
He recently spoke twice at the 2007 Southern Building Show and Conference regarding the outdoor living design trend and consumer trends in the luxury market. In 2007 he spoke at HomeX about the emergent group of homeowners with serious buying power, also known as the Chief Purchasing Officer of the Home, while in 2006, Steve presented at GlassBuild America about the evolution of the bathroom and how to market this extended living space to specific consumer groups including the Boomers, Gen Jones and Gen X. He also led a well-received educational forum on the luxury consumer at the 2005 Luxury Kitchen & Bath Show in Las Vegas.
Steve is the immediate past president of the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Center for Kitchen and Bath Education and Research (CKBER), a non-profit foundation created for the purpose of educating and cultivating future leaders in the kitchen and bath industry. In addition, he is also involved in both professional and civic organizations. Steve and his agency also regularly collaborate with a noted Atlanta research group to explore both emerging trends in the home industry and generational and consumer purchasing groups.
