Assistant Account Executive
Candidates will have 1-2 years agency experience
and will possess the necessary skills to learn the business while building
and maintaining the client relationship.
Required Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills/analytical proficiency
- Ability to work independently under the direction of an Account Supervisor
- Confidence and maturity to work directly with clients on a daily
basis
- Broad understanding of all aspects of brand development and agency
operations
- A strong desire to grow and a commitment to client service
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited university
- Previous agency experience is mandatory
- Ability to lead projects through completion in a timely manner while
working with multiple agency departments
- Strong print-production, media relations, and PR/promotional experience
is imperative
- Demonstrated written, verbal and communication skills
Media Planner/Buyer
Seasoned media planner/buyer with 7-10 years experience in an advertising
agency planning multi-million dollar media campaigns is needed to lead
media department.
Required Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of industry research, databases, and programs
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take ownership of deliverables and be proactive in tackling
projects with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in the home improvement industry is helpful
Responsibilities:
- Help define the vision and direction of the media department
- Define media planning, buying & operations standards
- Lead teams in setting strategies for developing media plans
- Support existing client media needs as well as new business efforts
- Promote best practices across teams
- Manage vendor performance and financials
- Mentor/educate junior team members
- Manage the strategic and tactical execution of all media products
- Evaluate composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine
which would most effectively reach the target audience
- Demographic data and consumer profiles to identify desired target
audiences for various media
